Insert Hammer

Introduced at the 2008 Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) show, the design for RPI's patent-pending insert hammer has received a warm reception.

The hammer design is a classic approach to solving specific problems for its customers.  Our customers need hammers that last longer and we responded by designing a hammer with a replaceable insert to allow the engineers to lengthen the hammer's operational life.  This allows our customers to pick up an additional 2-3 inches of life.

Bellow is a photo of a new and used 56B style insert hammer.  This hammer was run in the machine for twice as long as a traditional hammer.
